Paris St-Germain, Barcelona and Monaco to offer huge money for Chelsea playmaker Oscar

PSG to offer £41m for Chelsea star Oscar

Chelsea’s resolve to keep Brazil international Oscar will be tested in the summer by a £41.5million offer from Paris St-Germain.

The Premier League leaders may even be offered nearer £50m if Barcelona and Monaco spark a bidding war by tabling their own offers.

The Daily Telegraph reports that all three clubs, who have serious amounts of cash to spend at the end of the season, are all interested in the South American, tipped to be one of the stars of the forthcoming World Cup.

It seems unlikely, however, that Jose Mourinho will sell the 22-year-old playmaker, who cost £25m when he was signed from Internacional in July 2012.

Mourinho sent out a clear signal of intent that he wants to build his team around Oscar and Eden Hazard by selling Juan Mata to Manchester United for £37.1m in January, and it is not as if Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is short of money.
