Manchester United forward Bebe will leave discussions regarding another potential loan move with his representative.

The 23-year-old completed a shock switch to Old Trafford in 2010, penning a five-year contract upon his arrival.

He has, however, struggled to offer a return on United's sizeable investment, making just two Premier League appearances.

That has forced him to look elsewhere for game time, with the last three seasons seeing him take in spells at Besiktas, Rio Ave and Pacos de Ferreira.

He has impressed during his time back in his native Portugal, sparking reports of interest from Braga and Sporting Lisbon.

Bebe admits to being aware of the rumours and says he would welcome the opportunity to take another step up in class if an agreement can be reached with United.

He told A Bola: "I don't know anything concrete (about my future).

"I have heard about Braga and Sporting Lisbon, but they are just rumours. I will leave all of that to my agent.

"If I could choose to stay in Portugal, it would be to play for a big club. I think anything else wouldn't be very favourable to me.

"However, as I have already said, I know that my agent will certainly sort out my life."

Manchester United Left back Patrice Evra is out of contract in the summer and set to join club mate Nemanja Vidic at Inter Milan who are ready to offer him a deal.

English daily The Telegraph has reported today that United could have taken up an option to re-sign Evra – and he could have also triggered a new deal after making a certain number of appearances – but the French international is believed to have decided it is time to go.

Manchester United have heavily linked with a move for Southampton youngster Luke Shaw. United management is confident that an offer of around £27 million would be enough to price him away from St Mary’s. Ryan Giggs, Manchester United's caretaker manager, conceded David Moyes's permanent replacement faces a difficult task in resurrecting the fallen Premier League champions next season.

Louis van Gaal, who is about to lead the Netherlands in the upcoming World Cup finals in Brazil, remains the hot favourite to be that man, with reports suggesting he would be officially appointed as early as Tuesday.

But after Giggs's second game as temporary manager ended in a humbling 1-0 defeat by Sunderland at Old Trafford on Saturday -- United's seventh home reverse in the league this season - the Welsh winger admitted his side have fallen dramatically short of the necessary standards.

"You need to improve all the time," said Giggs, English football's most-decorated player.

"Consistency obviously wins you trophies and titles and we were nowhere near that this season.

"That's obviously a problem. It's a problem that needs to be solved next year.

"I still believe there is quality here but we obviously didn't show it today (Saturday).

"We've not shown it consistently over the season. Until we do that, we will carry on having results like today and that's frustrating.

"I still believe there is quality in the dressing room. They showed that last week but didn't this week. Whether it be a lack of confidence or concentration I honestly don't know.

"We've shown it away from home, shown good form away from home, but it's been a problem at Old Trafford this year.

"In past seasons, there have been wave after wave of shots and saves, you could always see goals coming. This season, it just hasn't happened.

"I can't tell you anything about the next manager, I am just concentrating on the next game."

That next game comes on Tuesday when Hull visit Old Trafford with United keen not to record an eighth home defeat of the campaign -- the seven suffered to date already representing the same total they suffered in the last four seasons, combined, of Alex Ferguson's reign.

The last home game of this disappointing campaign will also be the final Old Trafford date for a number of players -- such as veteran defenders Nemanja Vidic and Patrice Evra and possibly even Giggs himself if he cannot negotiate a role under the new management.

"It's the last home game so we want a positive result," said Giggs.

"Vida (Vidic) has been a brilliant player over the years, probably the greatest defender I've played with and I've played with some good ones. He's a brilliant player and will be sorely missed."

Manchester United welcome cross-town rivals Manchester City to Old Trafford on Tuesday for a highly important Premier League showdown.

Robin van Persie has moved to clarify rumours about his future by declaring his desire to remain with Manchester United.

Van Persie endured a fairytale debut season at Old Trafford but this campaign has not gone as well as the Dutchman would have liked with injury curtailing his involvement.

It has been reported that Van Persie feels let down by Sir Alex Ferguson’s sudden retirement, while he is also believed to be unhappy with David Moyes’ training methods, leading to suggestions that he could be on his way out of the club in the summer.

However, the striker insists he is happy at United and is hoping to follow in Wayne Rooney’s footsteps by signing a new deal with the Premier League champions.

“I don’t mind if my performances get dissected and people criticise what I’ve done on the pitch,” van Persie wrote in Manchester United’s official matchday programme United Review.

“They can talk about my game 24/7 for all I care… and a lot of those opinions and criticisms may actually be right. So I don’t mind that.

“What I need to address are the situations when people are taking it upon themselves to think for me, make assumptions, or interpret things as if they are me. Last time I checked my head was still attached to my body, so I’m the only one who knows exactly what I’m feeling and that is not what I or the fans have been reading.

“The truth is I’m very happy here at this club. I signed for four years and I’d be delighted to stay even longer, beyond the next two years I have left on my contract. This is how I feel, although it’s not what has been suggested in the media.”

Van Persie went on to refute rumours about his relationship with his team-mates and manager.

“I’m very happy with my team-mates and I’m very happy with my manager and his staff. The sessions we have on the training ground are fantastic and I’m learning a lot from them every day. I’ve been a professional footballer for 12 years now and there’s no doubt I’m learning new things and progressing with David Moyes,” he said.

“Like I said, talk about my performances or talk about a tackle that was too late. I don’t mind. But it goes too far when people start suggesting, amongst other things, that I have a bad understanding with the manager. That’s not true at all.

“Over the last few years I’ve started to look more closely at the way coaches work to learn from them – not just here at the club but with the international team as well. I’ve worked with some brilliant coaches and I’ve taken a real interest in all the methods they use and the choices they make.

“I can tell you that Moyes’ sessions and the things he says in his team meetings are spot-on. I really enjoy working under him and I’m absolutely convinced things will pick up and we’ll turn it around.

“There is mutual respect between us and the work environment is actually good. He really wants things to work here at Manchester United and I want the same, just like the other players. We’re all working hard to make this work.”

Manchester United scout David Friio has told manager David Moyes to sign Antoine Griezmann having watched the youngster in action.

Moyes himself travelled to Paris on Wednesday night to watch the 22-year-old feature against Netherlands which finished 2-0 to France.

And according to the Mirror, Moyes has been impressed with what the talented youngster can bring and has added him to the growing shortlist of potential summer moves.
