Tottenham's Hugo Lloris may consider future if there is no Champions League spot

Hugo Lloris has told the French press that he is focused on finishing in the top four with Tottenham Hotspur, but may have to mull over his options if they fail to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

Spurs are currently fifth in the Premier League, behind Liverpool only on goal difference, and Lloris is determined to climb higher in the standings

However, he has hinted in an interview with Telefoot in France that he would need to consider his future if a top-four spot is not secured.

"The objective is to reach the Champions League. After that, it's to close the gap on the biggest teams in the league," Lloris is quoted as saying.

"Without Champions League football? I've not thought about it. I must weigh things up at the end of the season."

Lloris made the move to White Hart Lane from Lyon in 2012 and still has two-and-a-half years remaining on his Spurs contract.
