The midfielder is confident the Serie A champions can continue to dominate domestically for several more years

Claudio Marchisio believes Juventus' dominance of Serie A is by no means nearing its conclusion and has set his sights on winning more silverware in the years to come.

Antonio Conte's men were crowned Italian champions for the third year in succession this season, but teams such as Roma and Napoli are desperate to close the gap with their rivals and end Juve's hegemony.

Nevertheless, Marchisio is confident that the Old Lady can continue to dominate Serie A for the foreseeable future.

"Juventus' cycle is not over. The last game of the season said it all. It was not just about reaching 100 points for us, but also about not conceding a goal to cap another strong year defensively," Marchisio told Tuttosport.

"This just goes to show that we still want to grow and improve and you cannot speak about the end of a cycle in these circumstances.

"Some people are already speaking about how next season will be difficult for us, but each season has been hard. 

"At the beginning of the season, it did not look like it was going to be this easy, but in the end everybody had to admit that Juventus were the strongest. It's only normal that we won Serie A and we will try and repeat it once more next term."

Marchisio scored four goals in 29 Serie A appearances in 2013-14.

Since January, Osvaldo has been on loan at Juventus, helping the Turin side to the Serie A title, having been exiled from Southampton for being involved in a series of disciplinary issues, the last of which was a training ground brawl with teammate Jose Fonte.

The 28-year-old, who has scored five goals in all competitions this season, only joined Southampton in August 2013, becoming their record signing when signed from Roma.

Juventus have the option of making the loan deal permanent this summer for a fee of £15.6m, but are reportedly unlikely to take up that option due to some disappointing performances for the club, managing just 325 minutes of action in Serie A.

And with Osvaldo set to move on, Valencia have emerged as the leading contenders for his signing, but they may need Southampton to lower their asking price for any permanent deal to take place. If not, they may have to be content with a season-long loan, having initially targeted the Italian international in January.

w've seen with our own two eyes the current unbeaten that Juventus is on. It was extended to 21 games over the weekend against Catania, the latest in so-so performances yet three-point takeaways. There is, however, another team in Italy putting together a pretty solid unbeaten run at the moment.

Who might that team be?

Well, it's Roberto Donadoni's Parma, who currently sit in fifth place with nine games to go in the 2013-14 campaign.

And who is Juventus playing tomorrow night in front of their Turin faithful?

Yeah, that same Parma team who hasn't lost a game since Juventus claimed a 1-0 win at the Tardini the first weekend of November. Since then, Parma hasn't been beaten, a span of 17 games that includes nine wins and eight draws. They've gone from hovering around the other mid-table squads to now in contention for a spot in the Europa League.

It's an impressive run no matter who. Come Wednesday night, though, it'll be Parma's biggest test in months.

The team Juventus has opened up the home schedule against the past two seasons is finally making its trip to Juventus Stadium. Both games, which ended in Juventus victories, were the start of something that ended in a title celebration months and months later. This time, Parma's visit to Juventus Stadium is at the end of March and one of the final games to go before Juventus officially clinches their third straight league title.

It's pretty easy to figure out: There's nine games left. Even fewer needed to clinch the title. Hey, it's the final countdown for a reason, folks.

Serie A leaders Juventus ended a difficult week with another 2-0 triumph, prevailing at AC Milan on Sunday after flying back from Turkey, where they had won by the same margin at Trabzonspor AŞ in the UEFA Europa League.

Seedorf's side looked to be in control in the first half, but the visitors broke the deadlock a minute before the break through Fernando Llorente, and added another when Carlos Tévez scored his 14th league goal of the season after 68 minutes. "It would take a tank to beat this Juve," said Rossoneri coach Clarence Seedorf. "Let's hope we don't meet any panzers, then," replied Juventus coach Antonio Conte with a smile.

Tévez's powerful long-range shot earned him praise from Gianluigi Buffon. "His goal was amazing, and it is not the first one he has scored like that," said the goalkeeper. "Certainly, we could breathe a bit easier after that – we took our chances but we also had a bit of luck tonight." The 30-year-old Argentinian is now the joint top scorer in Serie A, and the Rossoneri may regret not having signed Tévez in January 2012 when a deal seemed imminent.

"It wasn't easy today," Conte concluded. "Let's say Milan were like half a tank – they had enthusiasm and they played with a very high tempo in the first half. We had some problems, then Llorente scored and we changed our tactics during the break. Some say that Milan are not as strong a side as they once were, but if you look at my first two years at Juve, we got a draw and a loss against them at San Siro, so it wasn't easy at all."

With second-placed AS Roma 11 points behind them – albeit with a game in hand – following 0-0 against FC Internazionale Milano, and SSC Napoli a further six points back in third, it is hard to imagine Juventus missing out on a third successive title. "For sure, 11 points is a good lead," said Buffon. "But still, I don't underestimate Roma, especially because we are still in Europe and they are not, so sooner or later we might pay in terms of fitness problems."

Conte knows that is a concern. "Everything went fine for us in the league, but there are players who have never been rested, like [Leonardo] Bonucci, or [Paul] Pogba, who only had a two-week break in the summer after playing in the FIFA U-20 World Cup, so I am staying alert," the former Italy midfielder noted. "We have an 11-point margin, but there's still a long road ahead. It would be something special to win a third Scudetto in a row."

Uncapped striker Ciro Immobile earned a call-up to face Spain in Madrid on Wednesday, with Mario Balotelli absent due to a shoulder injury

Italy coach Cesare Prandelli has dumped Daniele De Rossi from his squad after the Roma midfielder's punch on Inter's Mauro Icardi.

Prandelli announced his selection to face Spain in Madrid on Wednesday and De Rossi was the most notable omission after he was caught on camera punching Icardi in the face during Roma's draw with Inter on Saturday.

Pablo Osvaldo and Mario Balotelli have previously been left out by Prandelli for misdemeanours at club level and while De Rossi avoided sanction during Saturday's match, his punch has become a hot topic in Italy.

It was better news for De Rossi's club team-mate Mattia Destro, who earned international recognition after hitting the back of the net six times in 11 Serie A games since returning from a knee injury.

Genoa goalkeeper Mattia Perin and AC Milan defender Mattia De Sciglio also secured recalls to the squad.

Two uncapped players were included by Prandelli - Parma defender Gabriel Paletta and Torino forward Ciro Immobile - while Mario Balotelli (shoulder) is unavailable.

Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal insists he wants to stay at the club to win more trophies - despite the reported interest of Real Madrid in his services.

The Chile international has been in sensational form for the Bianconeri this season, scoring 16 goals in all competitions for the Serie A leaders.

Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti is believed to have made a move for Vidal his priority in the summer transfer window but, despite admitting earlier this week that interest from los Blancos was "flattering", the 26-year-old has reiterated his desire to remain in Turin.

"I want to complete all my objectives, and to do so with Juventus," he told Radio Cooperativa. "I work day after day at Juve to give everything on the pitch. 

"Even if there is interest from Real Madrid, I continue to work hard here and hope to achieve all my goals.

"In Turin, my family and I feel at home. I still want to win so much with Juventus."

Despite the club season reaching a pivotal point as Juventus continue to challenge for both the Scudetto and Europa League, Vidal already has one eye on this summer's World Cup - a tournament in which he believes a youthful Chile side can pull off a few surprises.

"I'm preparing to be 100 per cent ready for Brazil. It will be a very difficult competition, but we are a good team with young players who dream of doing great things," he added.
